June Social Media Contest
Begins at 10 a.m. Monday, June 10, through 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 12.
The Iowa Lottery has FAIR FEVER! In our June social media contest, we've got your shot to win tickets in the "Iowa State Fair" scratch game! We'll give away five prize packs in our contest of $20 in tickets in the game.
The first-of-its-kind scratch game features a top prize of $50,000. Not only that, you can enter nonwinning Iowa State Fair tickets into the "Fair Fever" promotion for a shot to win a spot in an exclusive lottery game show on the first day of the fair. Each contestant will take home at least $10,000, and one will have a chance to win up to $5 million!
You can enter our social media contest beginning at 10 a.m. Monday, June 10, through 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 12. There's no purchase necessary to enter, you just have to answer our contest question. If you're one of our five winners, we'll ship your prize package directly to you.
Enter our contest from one of these social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Threads, or X (formerly known as Twitter). Choose the platform you want to use to make your entry, click on the contest link, fill out the contest entry form and click submit. That's it.
We will post the contest question on the designated contest entry page on the Iowa Lottery's website, and put a hyperlink to it on each of the social media platforms involved. At the end of the contest entry period, we'll select five winners from all of the eligible answers submitted.

and also on our social media pages once they are ready.
We'll notify the winners by email. If you are one of the winners, we'll need to verify your information in order for you to claim your prize pack! Winners will have until 4 p.m. on
Wednesday, June 19, to verify their information with us. We'll also select alternates in case any of the winners are ineligible.
A few other details:
- You must currently be residing in Iowa to participate.
- You must be at least 21 years old to enter.
- There's no purchase necessary to enter or win.
- You can enter only one time, and only on your own behalf, from one of these social media platforms involved: Facebook, Instagram, Threads, or X (formerly known as Twitter). If you try to enter more than once on the same platform or through multiple platforms, only your first entry will be accepted and any later entries will be forfeited. If you enter on behalf of someone else, that entry will be forfeited.

You understand that you are providing your information to the Iowa Lottery and not to Facebook, Instagram, Threads, or X. The information you provide will only be used for Iowa Lottery purposes. The risk of loss for electronic misdelivery, late delivery, or failure of receipt for information entered electronically remains with entrant regardless of the cause of the transmission failure. By entering this contest, you agree to release Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, the Iowa Lottery, the Iowa Department of Revenue, and the State of Iowa of all liability arising from this contest.
