CLIVE, Iowa - Two Cedar Valley men have split an Iowa Lottery prize of more than $19,000.

Dean Williams of Cedar Falls and Gary Ostrem of Waterloo won a jackpot prize in the Iowa Lottery’s “MONOPOLY™ Game Tokens Progressive” InstaPlay game. They bought their winning ticket at Guy W. Iverson AMVETS Post 49, 1934 Irving St. in Cedar Falls, and claimed their prize of $19,829.15 on Wednesday at the lottery’s Cedar Rapids regional office.

MONOPOLY™ Game Tokens Progressive is a $5 game that features a unique play style based on the classic board game. Its progressive jackpot starts at $5,000 and increases with every ticket sold statewide until it is won.

InstaPlay combines features of scratch and lotto games. Tickets are printed on demand from lottery terminals rather than being pre-printed, and are sometimes called “scratchless” because there is no security coating to remove.

InstaPlay games range in price from $1 to $30. For more information, visit www.ialottery.com.
