CLIVE, Iowa — A Cedar Rapids man has won a $10,000 lottery prize.

Alexzander Murphy won a top prize playing the Iowa Lottery's "Chillin' With My Gnomies" scratch game. He purchased his winning ticket at Casey's, 1532 Ellis Blvd. in Cedar Rapids, and claimed his prize Monday at the lottery's Cedar Rapids regional office.

Chillin' With My Gnomies is a $2 scratch game that features nine top prizes of $10,000 and overall odds of 1 in 3.81.

From now until 9:59 a.m. on Jan. 7, players can enter nonwinning holiday-themed lottery tickets into a second-chance promotion for a chance to win a share of $1 million in cash prizes. For more information, visit www.ialottery.com.
