CLIVE, Iowa — A central Iowa woman has won a $30,000 lottery prize.
Jordan Osborne of Ankeny won a top prize in the Iowa Lottery's "Peppermint Crossword" scratch game. She purchased her winning ticket at Hy-Vee, 410 N. Ankeny Blvd. in Ankeny, and claimed her prize Dec. 15 at the lottery's main office in Clive.
Peppermint Crossword is a $3 holiday-themed scratch game that features nine top prizes of $30,000 and overall odds of 1 in 3.80.
From now until 9:59 a.m. on Jan. 7, players can enter nonwinning holiday-themed lottery tickets into a second-chance promotion for a chance to win a share of $1 million in cash prizes. For more information, visit www.ialottery.com.
