CLIVE, Iowa – An Ottumwa man has claimed a $100,000 lottery prize.
Ruel Padrique claimed the third of six top prizes of $100,000 available in the Iowa Lottery's "$100,000 Holiday Mega Crossword" scratch game.
Padrique bought his winning ticket at Jefferson Street BP, 533 N. Jefferson St. in Ottumwa, and claimed his prize Friday at the lottery's headquarters in Clive.
The $100,000 Holiday Mega Crossword game is a $10 ticket. More details about how to play this game, and number of prizes still up for grabs in it can be found on the Iowa Lottery's website, www.ialottery.com.
