Northern Iowa Woman Wins $100,000 Lottery Prize

Debra Eggers Claims Top Prize In New 'Casino Riches' Scratch Game

CLIVE, Iowa – The first of eight top prizes of $100,000 available in the Iowa Lottery's new "Casino Riches" scratch game was claimed Monday by a northern Iowa woman.

Debra Eggers of Charles City bought her winning ticket at Prime Mart, 609 S. Main St. in Charles City, and claimed her prize at the lottery's regional office in Mason City.

Casino Riches is a $10 scratch game. More details about how to play this game, and number of prizes still up for grabs in it can be found on the Iowa Lottery's website, www.ialottery.com.

Prizes and Proceeds

Since the lottery's start in 1985, its players have won more than $5.7 billion in prizes while the lottery has raised more than $2.4 billion for the state programs that benefit all Iowans.

Today, lottery proceeds help our state in multiple ways. They help Iowa veterans and their families through the Iowa Veterans Trust Fund. They help the families of Iowa peace officers, firefighters and corrections employees who die in the line of duty. And they provide help for a variety of significant projects through the state General Fund.
