CLIVE, Iowa – Two of the three $50,000-winning Powerball tickets from Wednesday's drawing have been claimed.

Sharon Bruvik of Humboldt and Roger Weber of Evandale claimed their prizes from the lottery Thursday. Bruvik, who claimed her prize at the lottery's regional office in Mason City, purchased her winning ticket at Casey's, 502 Main St. in Dakota City. Weber, who claimed his prize at the lottery's regional office in Cedar Rapids, purchased his winning ticket at Kwik Star, 100 W. Gilbert Drive in Evansdale.

A third $50,000-winning ticket purchased at Ampride All Round Truck Plaza, 3243 Fifth Ave. S. in Fort Dodge had yet to be claimed as of Friday morning. In Iowa, Powerball winners have one year from the date of the drawing to claim prizes.

All three $50,000-winning tickets were just one number away from winning Wednesday's $758.7 million jackpot, matching the four of the first five numbers and the Powerball. The winning numbers in night's drawing were: 6-7-16-23-26 and Powerball 4. The Power Play® number was 4. Mavis Wanczyk of Massachusetts claimed that massive jackpot, which is the largest single lottery prize ever in the United States. Saturday's Powerball jackpot is $40 million.

Winning numbers may be checked at the lottery website at www.ialottery.com or through the winning numbers hot line at (515) 323-4633. Winning numbers may also be checked with lottery retail outlets or by calling the lottery at (515) 725-7900 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
