Players Have Until Mid-February 2010 to Claim Scratch Prizes
and until January 2011 to Claim Pull-tab Prizes
DES MOINES, Iowa – The Iowa Lottery is officially ending four
instant-scratch games and two pull-tab games and has established
the deadline by which players must claim prizes in them.
The lottery has announced the end date for the following scratch
games: "Snow Birds," "Extreme Green," "Sudoku" and "Pinball."
Players have until the close of business on Feb. 15, 2010, to
claim prizes in these four scratch games that are ending.
The lottery also has announced the end dates for the following
two pull-tab games: "Dubble Bubble" and "Tee One Up." Players
have until the close of business on Jan. 6, 2011, to claim
prizes in them.
Players may visit an Iowa Lottery retailer or one of the
lottery's regional offices in Council Bluffs, Storm Lake, Des
Moines, Mason City and Cedar Rapids to claim a prize.
Winning lotto numbers may be checked at the lottery Web site at
www.ialottery.com or through the winning numbers" hot line at
(515) 323-4633. Winning numbers may also be checked with lottery
retail outlets or by calling the lottery at (515) 725-7900 from
8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
Since the Iowa Lottery's inception in 1985, its players have won
more than $2.4 billion in prizes while the lottery has raised
nearly $1.2 billion for state programs. |
