ANKENY MAN WINS $100,000 LOTTERY PRIZE

Kyle Johnson Wins Top Prize Playing "Iowa's $100,000 Cash Game"

DES MOINES, Iowa – An Ankeny man won the top prize of $100,000 playing "Iowa's $100,000 Cash Game."

Kyle Johnson claimed his prize Wednesday at the Iowa Lottery's headquarters in Des Moines. He purchased his winning ticket at Quik Trip, 4575 N.W. Second Ave. in Des Moines.

Players in Iowa's $100,000 Cash Game choose five numbers from a pool of 35. Tickets in the game cost $1 and drawings are held at 6:28 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The odds of winning the game's top prize are 1 in 324,632.

Winning numbers may be checked at the lottery Web site at www.ialottery.com or through the winning numbers' hot line at (515) 323-4633. Winning numbers may also be checked with lottery retail outlets or by calling the lottery at (515) 725-7900 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Since the Iowa Lottery's start in 1985, its players have won more than $2.4 billion in prizes while the lottery has raised more than $1.2 billion for state programs.
