FORT MADISON MAN WINS $10,000

Mark Simmons Wins Top Prize in New Scratch Game

DES MOINES, Iowa - A southeastern Iowa man has won a large prize in a new Iowa Lottery scratch game.

Mark Simmons of Fort Madison won $10,000 playing the “Indiana Jones™” instant-scratch game. He purchased the winning ticket at Garner Oil Inc., 2236 Ave. L in Fort Madison.

Simmons claimed the prize at Iowa Lottery headquarters in Des Moines.

Indiana Jones™ is a $2 scratch game. Players try to match any of “their numbers” to either of the “winning numbers” to win the prize shown for that number.

Simmons claimed the first top prize in the game. Nine top prizes of $10,000 have yet to be claimed in the game, along with approximately 360 prizes of $100.
