DES MOINES, Iowa - A Black Hawk County man has won a large prize in a new Iowa Lottery scratch game.

Nate Greenway of Waterloo won $10,000 playing the “Indiana Jones™” instant-scratch game. He purchased the winning ticket at Kwik Stop, 1761 Independence Ave. in Waterloo.

Greenway claimed the prize at the Iowa Lottery's regional office in Cedar Rapids.

Indiana Jones™ is a $2 scratch game. Players try to match any of “their numbers” to either of the “winning numbers” to win the prize shown for that number.

The overall odds of winning in the game are 1 in 3.65.

Greenway claimed the third top prize in the game. Seven top prizes of $10,000 have yet to be claimed in the game, along with approximately 300 prizes of $100.

Since the Iowa Lottery's inception in 1985, more than $2.1 billion has been awarded in prizes and more than $1.1 billion has been raised for state programs.
