DES MOINES, Iowa - A Crawford County man has won a $30,000 lottery prize.

Rafael Pineda of Denison claimed the seventh of eight top prizes of $30,000 available in the Iowa Lottery's "X-Treme Winnings" instant-scratch game.

Pineda claimed his prize Monday at the lottery's regional office in Storm Lake. He purchased his winning ticket at Pronto, 810 Fourth Ave. S. in Denison

X-Treme Winnings is a $3 scratch game. Players scratch the "X-Numbers," then scratch all the numbers in each game that exactly match any of the "X-Numbers." If a player matches all of the numbers in any game, he/she wins the prize for that game. The overall odds of winning a prize in the game are 1 in 3.76.

One top prize of $30,000 is still up for grabs in X-Treme Winnings, as well as 13 prizes of $1,000, eight prizes of $500, 61 prizes of $200, 45 prizes of $120 and 107 prizes of $100.
