DES MOINES, Iowa – A Cedar Rapids man has won the first $10,000 prize playing the "Win Big or Go Home!" instant-scratch game.

Bennie Glinn claimed his prize Wednesday at the Iowa Lottery's regional office in Cedar Rapids. He purchased his winning ticket at Cigarette Outlet, 1404 First Ave. N.E. in Cedar Rapids.

The Win Big or Go Home! scratch game is a $2 game. Players who match any of "Your Numbers" to either "Winning Number" on their ticket win the prize shown for that play area. If they find a "Glove" symbol, they win double the prize shown. The overall odds of winning in the game are 1 in 4.45.

The Win Big or Go Home! began with 180 prizes. Seven top prizes of $10,000 are still up for grabs in the game along with more than 160 prizes of $200.

Since the Iowa Lottery's inception in 1985, its players have won more than $2.2 billion in prizes while the lottery has raised more than $1.1 billion for state programs.
