DES MOINES, Iowa - A Roland woman won a top prize of $10,000 playing the lottery's "Scrabble™" instant-scratch game.
Beth Thoreson claimed her prize Thursday at the Iowa Lottery's headquarters in Des Moines. She purchased her winning ticket at Swift Stop, 1118 S. Duff Ave. in Ames.
