Adam Miller Wins Top Prize Playing the "Lucky Jar Bingo" Scratch Game
DES MOINES, Iowa - A Rock Creek, OH man won a top prize of $25,000 playing the lottery's "Lucky Jar Bingo" instant-scratch game.
Adam Miller claimed his prize Aug. 1 at the Iowa Lottery's headquarters in Des Moines. He purchased his winning ticket at Casey's, 1019 N. Chestnut St. in Avoca.

Today, lottery proceeds in Iowa have three main purposes: They provide support for veterans, help for a variety of significant projects through the state General Fund, and backing for the Vision Iowa program, which was implemented to create tourism destinations and community attractions in the state and build and repair schools.
