Kelli Erb Wins in Sept. 6 Powerball Drawing

DES MOINES, Iowa - A West Point woman won a large prize playing Powerball®.

Kelli Erb of West Point won $40,000 in the Sept. 6 Powerball drawing. She purchased her winning ticket at County Market, 1802 Ave. H in Fort Madison.

Erb claimed her prize at the Iowa Lottery's regional office in Cedar Rapids.

The winning Powerball numbers for the Sept. 6 drawing were: 17-25-26-49-54. The Powerball was 11. The Power Play multiplier was 4.

Since Erb chose to play the Power Play®, she multiplied her $10,000 prize by four to win $40,000.

Just before the Powerball numbers are drawn, the Power Play wheel is spun. Slots on the wheel list the amount prizes (except the jackpot) will be multiplied if that number is drawn.
