DES MOINES, Iowa - A South Elgin, Ill. man was following his regular morning routine by checking his Iowa's $100,000 Cash Game tickets in Fort Madison when he discovered he'd won a top prize of $100,000.
Tony Indrago, 61, said he enjoys Iowa Lottery games like the Cash Game and Pick 4, so when he stops at Hy-Vee Gas, 2632 Ave. L in Fort Madison on his regular morning route he always checks the previous day's numbers.
"He said, 'Congratulations, you won a hundred thousand!'" Indrago said. "I said, 'Thank you very much.'"
Indrago, who is a retired electrician, travels to Fort Madison regularly to see his friends, but he has only told his wife about his big win. He's making big plans for his winnings.
"I want to buy a little house," he said.
