DES MOINES, Iowa - A Waterloo woman won a top prize of $30,000 playing the lottery's "Holiday Crossword" instant-scratch game.
Fran Lemper claimed her prize Monday at the Iowa Lottery's headquarters in Des Moines. She purchased her winning ticket at Hy-Vee, 640 Lincoln Way in Ames.
