DES MOINES, Iowa – A Dickinson County woman has won the top prize of $50,000 playing the lottery's "Holly Jolly Jackpot" instant-scratch game.

Ann Chiochon of Lake Park claimed her prize Monday at the Iowa Lottery's regional office in Storm Lake. She bought her winning ticket at Dyno's, 602 Okoboji in Milford.

Holly Jolly Jackpot is a $5 scratch game. There are three ways to win on the ticket. Players win a prize by matching any of "Your Numbers" to any of the "Jolly Numbers" and win the prize shown for that number. If a player finds a "Santa" they win double that prize in game one. In game two, players win by getting two identical symbols. And in the third game, players win if they reveal a prize amount. The overall odds of winning in the game are 1 in 3.72.

Four top prizes of $50,000 are still available in Holly Jolly Jackpot, as well as 47 prizes of $1,000, more than 100 prizes of $250 as well as 473 prizes of $100.

Since the Iowa Lottery's start in 1985, its players have won more than $2.4 billion in prizes while the lottery has raised more than $1.2 billion for state programs.
