Players Have Until March to Claim Scratch Prizes and Until December 2011 and February 2012 to Claim Pull-tab Prizes
DES MOINES, Iowa - As part of its standard procedures, the Iowa Lottery is officially ending six instant-scratch games and two pull-tab games and has established the deadline by which players must claim prizes in them.
The lottery has announced the end date for the following six scratch games: "EZ Grand," "Hundreds of Dollars," "Cash Splash," "Roll 'Em," "Oh, Deer!" and "Instant Cash Keno." Players have until the close of business on March 14 to claim prizes in these six games.
Players may visit an Iowa Lottery retailer or one of the lottery's offices in Council Bluffs, Storm Lake, Des Moines, Mason City and Cedar Rapids to claim a scratch-game prize.
In addition, the lottery announced the end date for two pull-tab games: "Iowa Jackpot" and "Spice It Up." Players have until the close of business on Dec. 29, 2011, to claim prizes in Iowa Jackpot and until the close of business on Feb. 2, 2012, to claim prizes in Spice It Up.
Winning pull-tab tickets must be redeemed at the same retailer where they were purchased.
