DES MOINES, Iowa - A Hancock County man won the top prize of $30,000 playing the lottery's "Crossword" instant-scratch game.
Merle Gouge from Garner claimed his prize Tuesday at the Iowa Lottery's regional office in Mason City. He purchased his winning ticket at Klemme Town Mart, 200 E. Main St. in Klemme.
