DES MOINES, Iowa - A Boone woman won the top prize of $12,000 playing the "Double Cherry Twist" scratch game.
Penny Kester claimed her prize Wednesday at the Iowa Lottery's headquarters in Des Moines. She purchased her winning ticket at L & M Gas & Grocery, 320 W. Mamie Eisenhower St. in Boone.
