DES MOINES, Iowa - A Fort Madison woman won a $30,000 prize playing the lottery's "Crossword" instant-scratch game.
Bernice Nichols claimed her prize Tuesday at the Iowa Lottery's regional office in Cedar Rapids. She purchased her winning ticket at Hy-Vee, 2606 Avenue L in Fort Madison.
