DES MOINES, Iowa - A Hamilton, Ill., woman claimed a $10,000 prize from the Aug. 31 Mega Millions® drawing.
D'Rae Coyner claimed her prize Thursday at the Iowa Lottery's headquarters in Des Moines. She purchased her winning ticket at Murphy USA, 3450 Main St. in Keokuk.
The winning numbers in the $53 million Mega Millions drawing on Aug. 31 were: 10-20-29-47-48 and Mega Ball 38. The Megaplier® number that night was 3. Coyner's ticket matched the four white balls and the Mega Ball to win a $10,000 prize. Had she added the Megaplier option to her ticket, she would have multiplied her $10,000 win to $30,000.
