DES MOINES, Iowa - A Marion man won a $10,000 prize in the Sept. 15 Powerball drawing.
Scott Davidson claimed his prize Friday at the Iowa Lottery's regional office in Cedar Rapids. He purchased his winning ticket at Guppy's on the Go, 680 Lindale Drive in Marion.
The winning numbers in the Sept. 15 $95.1 million jackpot drawing were 7-20-21-34-43 and Powerball 34. The Power Play® multiplier was 5. Davidson won a $10,000 prize by matching four of the first five numbers and the Powerball. Had he added the Power Play to his ticket, Davidson would have multiplied his $10,000 win by five to win a $50,000 prize. There was no jackpot winner for the Sept. 15 drawing.
