DES MOINES, Iowa - A Lucas County man won a $10,000 prize playing the lottery's "Merry Money" instant-scratch game.
Mickey Byrd from Chariton claimed his prize Friday at the Iowa Lottery's headquarters in Des Moines. He purchased his winning ticket at Casey's, 1421 Court Ave. in Chariton.
