DES MOINES, Iowa - A Fort Madison woman won the top prize of $30,000 playing the lottery's "Crossword" instant-scratch game.
Tammy Arevalo claimed her prize Thursday at the Iowa Lottery's regional office in Cedar Rapids. Arevalo purchased her winning ticket at Casey's, 1428 38th St. in Fort Madison.
