DES MOINES, Iowa - A Bremer County woman won the top prize of $30,000 playing the lottery's "Crossword" instant-scratch game.
Shirlee Thompson from Janesville claimed her prize Friday at the Iowa Lottery's regional office in Mason City. She purchased her winning ticket at Kwik Star, 811 Barrick Road in Janesville.
