DES MOINES, Iowa - A Cedar County woman won the top prize of $50,000 playing the lottery's "Silver Bells" instant-scratch game.
Jeannette Cardona from Lowden claimed her prize Wednesday at the Iowa Lottery's regional office in Cedar Rapids. She purchased her winning ticket at Daybreak, 102 Hwy. 30 in Wheatland.
