Deadlines Established to Claim Prizes In Those Games That Are Ending
DES MOINES, Iowa - As part of its standard procedures, the Iowa Lottery is officially ending 10 instant-scratch games and two pull-tab games and has established the deadlines by which players must claim prizes in them.
The lottery has announced the end date for the following 10 scratch games: "The Freedom Rock," "Jingle Bell Crossword," "Line 'Em Up," "Funky 5's," "Dough Plow," "Double Cherry Twist," "Super 7's," "Tropical Treasures," "3 Little Monkeys" and "Cash To Go." Players have until the close of business on April 5 to claim prizes in The Freedom Rock and Jingle Bell Crossword and until close of business on May 2 to claim prizes in Line 'Em Up. Additionally, player have until the close of business on June 6 to claim prizes in Funky 5's, Dough Plow, Double Cherry Twist, Super 7's, Tropical Treasures, 3 Little Monkeys and Cash To Go.
Players may visit an Iowa Lottery retailer or one of the lottery's offices in Council Bluffs, Storm Lake, Des Moines, Mason City and Cedar Rapids to claim a scratch-game prizes.
In addition, the lottery announced the end date for two pull-tab games: "Star Spangled Bucks" and "Juicy Loot." Players have until the close of business on March 22, 2012, to claim prizes in those two games.
Winning pull-tab tickets must be redeemed at the same retailer where they were purchased.
The lottery replaces ending games with new games throughout the year based on player input and purchases. A complete list of current scratch and pull-tab games can be found on the lottery website at www.ialottery.com.
