Joseph Weldinger

DES MOINES, Iowa - A Pocahontas man won a $10,000 prize in Friday's Mega Millions® drawing.

Joseph Weldinger claimed his prize Monday at the Iowa Lottery's regional office in Storm Lake. He purchased his winning ticket at Fareway, 731 Seneca St. in Storm Lake.

The winning numbers in the $151 million Mega Millions drawing on Friday were: 14-19-21-42-45 and Mega Ball 6. The Megaplier® number that night was 2. Weldinger's ticket matched the four white balls and the Mega Ball to win a $10,000 prize. Had he added the Megaplier option to his ticket, Weldinger would have multiplied his $10,000 win by two to claim a $20,000 prize.

There was no jackpot winner in Friday's Mega Millions drawing.

Players can multiply their prizes (except the jackpot) with the Megaplier up to four times. The cost is $1 per play.
