DES MOINES, Iowa - A Keokuk man won $20,000 playing the lottery's "Tic Tac 2's" instant-scratch game.
Bryan Poulter, 26, was thrilled to be the first top prize winner in the Tic Tac 2's scratch game.
When Poulter scratched the ticket to reveal the win, he didn't know at first how much he had won.
"My jaw just dropped to the floor," Poulter said. "I could not believe what it said."
Poulter said he and his wife, Stacey, were jumping up and down in excitement and were happy to share the news with their parents.
"They were just as hysteric about it as we were," Poulter said.
Poulter plans on using the $20,000 to pay bills and go on a small vacation. He also said he plans to keep playing. Poulter works as a machine operator at JB Automatic in Hamilton, Ill.
He purchased his winning ticket at Beck's, 3345 N. Main St. in Keokuk and claimed his prize on Friday at the Iowa Lottery's regional office in Cedar Rapids.
