Burlington Man Wins $10,000 Lottery Prize

DES MOINES, Iowa - A Burlington man won a $10,000 prize in the July 15 Mega Millions drawing.
Darrel Belzer claimed his prize Tuesday at the Iowa Lottery's regional office in Cedar Rapids. He purchased his winning ticket at Kum & Go, 303 Highway 61 N. in Wapello.
The winning numbers in the $33 million Mega Millions drawing on July 15 were: 16-29-30-46-56 and Mega Ball 6. The Megaplier® number that night was 3. Belzer's ticket matched the four white balls and the Mega Ball to win a $10,000 prize. Had Belzer added the Megaplier option to his ticket, he would have multiplied his $10,000 win by three and claimed a $30,000 prize.
There was no jackpot winner in the July 15 Mega Millions drawing.
Players can multiply their prizes (except the jackpot) with the Megaplier up to four times. The cost is $1 per play.
