Teresa Thibadeau Wins Big Prize Playing "Bingo Times 10" Scratch Game
DES MOINES, Iowa - A Manchester woman won a $25,000 prize playing the lottery's "Bingo Times 10" instant-scratch game.
Teresa Thibadeau claimed her prize Aug. 18 at the Iowa Lottery's regional office in Cedar Rapids. She bought her winning ticket at Kwik Star, 1000 W. Main St. in Manchester.
Bingo Times 10 is a $10 scratch game. Players try to match any complete horizontal, vertical or diagonal line, four corners, or an "X" pattern on one of the eight Bingo cards to win the corresponding prize in the prize arrow that points to their card. The "10X" symbol is a "Free" space. If the 10X symbol appears in any winning Bingo pattern, the prize is multiplied by 10. The overall odds of winning a prize in the game are 1 in 3.37.
Three top prizes of $250,000 have yet to be claimed in Bingo Times 10; 13 prizes of $25,000 still remain, along with 40 prizes of $2,500, more than 80 prizes of $1,000 and thousands more prizes of $100 to $500.
Players can enter eligible non-winning scratch tickets online to earn "Points For Prizes™" points. The point value will be revealed to the player on the website upon successful submission of each eligible valid ticket. There is a limit of 30 ticket entries per day. To participate in Points For Prizes, a player must register for a free account at ialottery.com. Registration is a one-time process. Merchandise that can be ordered by using points will be listed on the website in the Points For Prizes online store. Players can choose from items in categories such as apparel, automotive, jewelry, sporting, tools and more.
