DES MOINES, Iowa - An Ottumwa man won the first top prize of $50,000 playing the lottery's "Holiday Bonus Crossword" instant-scratch game.
Adan De Paz claimed his prize Wednesday at the Iowa Lottery's headquarters in Des Moines. He purchased his winning ticket at Pennsylvania & Jefferson Amoco, 1147 N. Jefferson St. in Ottumwa.
