DES MOINES, Iowa - An Appanoose County man won a top prize of $30,000 playing the lottery's "Twisted" instant-scratch game.
John Owens from Exline claimed his prize Friday at the Iowa Lottery's headquarters in Des Moines. He purchased his winning ticket at Kum & Go, 1800 W. Burlington Ave. in Fairfield.
