Deadlines Established To Claim Prizes In Those Games That Are Ending
DES MOINES, Iowa - As part of its standard procedures, the Iowa Lottery is officially ending three instant-scratch games and one pull-tab game and has established the deadlines by which players must claim prizes in them.
The lottery has announced the end date for the following three scratch games: "Spades," "Spooky Loot" and "Great State Tailgate." Players have until the close of business on Dec. 31 to claim prizes in those three games.
Players may visit an Iowa Lottery retailer or one of the lottery's offices in Council Bluffs, Storm Lake, Des Moines, Mason City and Cedar Rapids to claim scratch-game prizes.
The lottery has also announced the end date for the following pull-tab game: "American Pride." Players have until the close of business on Nov. 7, 2013, to claim prizes in that game.
Winning pull-tab tickets must be redeemed at the same retailer where they were purchased.
The lottery replaces ending games with new games throughout the year. A complete list of current scratch and pull-tab games can be found on the lottery website at www.ialottery.com.
