DES MOINES, Iowa - A Cherokee man won a $30,000 prize in Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing.
Jeff Schuver claimed his prize Wednesday at the Iowa Lottery's regional office in Storm Lake. He purchased his winning ticket at Casey's, 4 South First St. in Moville.
The winning numbers in the $363 million Mega Millions drawing on Tuesday were 9-19-34-44-51 and Mega Ball 24. The Megaplier® number that night was 3. Schuver's ticket matched the four white balls and the Mega Ball to win a $10,000 prize. Because he added the Megaplier option to his ticket, Schuver multiplied his $10,000 win by three to claim a $30,000 prize.
There was no jackpot winner in Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing. The estimated jackpot for Friday's drawing is $640 million.
Players can multiply their prizes (except the jackpot) with the Megaplier up to four times. The cost is $1 per play.
