DES MOINES, Iowa - A Hardin County woman won a top prize of $30,000 playing the lottery's "Crossword" instant-scratch game.
Linda Backoff from Alden claimed her prize Wednesday at the Iowa Lottery's regional office in Mason City. She purchased her winning ticket at Handi Stop, 748 S. Oak St. in Iowa Falls.
