DES MOINES, Iowa - A Des Moines man won a top prize of $30,000 playing the lottery's "Crossword" instant-scratch game.
James Holmes claimed his prize Thursday at the Iowa Lottery's headquarters in Des Moines. He purchased his winning ticket at Hy-Vee Gas, 4701 Fleur Drive in Des Moines.
