DES MOINES, Iowa - An Adel man has won a $100,000 lottery prize.

Roger Kelly claimed the third of nine top prizes of $100,000 available in the Iowa Lottery's "10X Cash" instant-scratch game.

Kelly claimed his prize Tuesday at lottery headquarters in Des Moines. He purchased his winning ticket at Fuller's Standard Service, 718 Greene St. in Adel.

"10X Cash" is a $10 scratch game. Players scratch the three different games and bonus areas of the ticket. In Game 1, if players match the "winning number" to "your number" in the same row, they win the prize shown for that row. If they reveal a "10X" symbol, they win 10 times the prize shown for that row. In Game 2, if players reveal three matching symbols they win $40 instantly. In Game 3, if players reveal three "coin" symbols in the same row, same column or same diagonal, they win $30 instantly. The overall odds of winning a prize in the game are 1 in 3.24.

Six top prizes of $100,000 are still up for grabs in 10X Cash, as well as eight prizes of $10,000 and thousands of prizes from $100 to $1,000.
