Rick Rasmussen Wins Big Prize Playing the "Cash Inferno" Scratch Game
DES MOINES, Iowa - A Wright County man has won a $10,000 lottery prize.
Rick Rasmussen from Goldfield claimed the second of nine prizes of $10,000 available in the Iowa Lottery's "Cash Inferno" instant-scratch game.
Rasmussen claimed his prize Wednesday at the Iowa Lottery's regional office in Mason City. He purchased his winning ticket at Casey's, 319 E. Iowa Highway 3 in Goldfield.
Cash Inferno is a $10 scratch game. Players scratch the "lucky symbols" and "your symbols" in each row. If a player matches the "2X, 5X or 10X your symbols" to the "lucky symbol," they win two, five or 10 times the prize shown for that row. Each row is played separately. The overall odds of winning a prize in the game are 1 in 3.11.
Seven top prizes of $100,000 are still up for grabs in Cash Inferno, as well as seven prizes of $10,000, more than 250 prizes of $1,000 and thousands of prizes from $100 to $300.Return to top↑
