DES MOINES, Iowa - A Sioux City man said he won big on an Iowa Lottery game two weeks ago and now he's won an even bigger lottery prize playing the same game.

Lawrence Vaydich claimed the last of six prizes of $10,000 available in the Iowa Lottery's "Game Book" instant-scratch game.

"I won $500 on the same game two weeks earlier," Vaydich explained. "So it's been good to me."

The Game Book's top prize is $100,000 and two of those prizes remain unclaimed. Vaydich, 67, is retired and joked about going on a search to find one of the remaining top prizes.

"Now I'm going to drive around the state looking for the $100,000," Vaydich laughed.

Vaydich claimed his prize Tuesday at the Iowa Lottery's regional office in Council Bluffs. He purchased his winning ticket at Hy-Vee, 3401 Gordon Drive in Sioux City.

Vaydich said he and his wife, MaDonna, already have plans in mind for their winnings.

"Pay bills and things like that," he said. "Probably take a vacation this summer."

Vaydich said he enjoys the various games within the Game Book and is just happy to have the chance to win.

"I just appreciate the opportunity," he said. "And I'm glad the money's going for a good cause, you know, for the state and everything."

Game Book is a $20 scratch game. Players have the chance to win prizes on eight games spread across six pages, all in one book. Each game is played separately. The games available are: "Golden 7s," "Doubling Star Crossword," "Lucky Lines," "Bubble Bucks," "Winning Combination," "Pyramids," "Spin 'n Win" and "$100,000 Explosion." The Game Book will be void if any pages are separated from the book. The overall odds of winning a prize in the game are 1 in 2.52.

Two top prizes of $100,000 are still up for grabs in Game Book, as well as 20 prizes of $1,000 and hundreds of prizes from $75 to $500.
