First-Of-Its-Kind Game Book Debuts In Iowa, Lottery Urges Players To 'Keep It Together'

New $20 Game Book Is Iowa Lottery's First Scratch Booklet

DES MOINES, Iowa - A first-of-its-kind instant-scratch game has made its debut in Iowa and with the new play style, the Iowa Lottery has some tips for players.

The $20 "Game Book" has gone on sale this month in Iowa. Each Game Book sports eight games spread across six pages of playing fun, all in one ticket. It features some player favorites, including "Crossword" and "Lucky Lines," but new games are also included.

"We think our players will find this new play style especially intriguing," said Iowa Lottery CEO Terry Rich. "With eight games for $20, each Game Book will provide plenty of entertainment for players no matter which games they usually play."

Rich emphasized that the Game Book is sold as one piece and needs to stay that way. Players must have their Game Book tickets intact in order to claim any prizes -- no pages should be torn out.

The Game Book's top prize is $100,000, and other prizes from $20 to $10,000 also are up for grabs in it.

Also, for those players who enter their nonwinning tickets into their free VIP Club accounts, the 10-digit entry number they will need is found on page six of the booklet, on the page with the "$100,000 Explosion" game, and the 12-digit ticket number can be found on the back page.

And as always, the Lottery urges players to sign their tickets before presenting them for validation.

"Signing a ticket makes it yours," Rich said.
