Players Have Until August 2009 to Claim Scratch Prizes, July
2010 For Pull-Tab Prizes
DES MOINES, Iowa – The Iowa Lottery is officially ending 19 of
its scratch games and one of its pull-tab games and has
established the deadline by which players must claim prizes in
them.
The lottery has announced the end date for the following scratch
games: "Crossword" (yellow/green newsprint); "Deal or No Deal";
"Cookie Dough"; "Cash on the Spot"; "Fire and Dice"; "Skee
Bucks"; "$50 Grand"; "Fuzzy Dice"; "High Fives"; "Bankroll";
"Aces High"; "One Lucky Number"; "Spring Fling"; "Drive for
Show, Putt for Dough"; "Super Deuces"; "Double or Nothing";
"Lucky Wheel"; "Indiana Jones"; and "Day at the Fair." Players
have until the close of business on Aug. 10 to claim prizes in
them.
The lottery also has announced the end date for the "Dublin
Down" pull-tab game. Players have until the close of business on
July 1, 2010, to claim prizes in it.
Players may visit an Iowa Lottery retailer or one of the
lottery's regional offices in Council Bluffs, Storm Lake, Des
Moines, Mason City and Cedar Rapids to claim a prize.
Winning lotto numbers may be checked at the lottery Web site at
www.ialottery.com or through the winning numbers' hot line at
(515) 323-4633. Winning numbers may also be checked with lottery
retail outlets or by calling the lottery at (515) 725-7900 from
8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
Since the Iowa Lottery's inception in 1985, its players have won
more than $2.2 billion in prizes while the lottery has raised
more than $1.1 billion for state programs. |
