DES MOINES, Iowa - An Ottumwa man has won a $50,000 lottery prize.

Rafael Botello Ramirez claimed the 33rd of 34 top prizes of $50,000 available in the Iowa Lottery's "Super Crossword" instant-scratch game.

Ramirez claimed his prize Monday at the lottery's headquarters in Des Moines. He purchased his winning ticket at Albia Road BP, 1340 Albia Road in Ottumwa.

Super Crossword is a $5 scratch game. Players win a prize by uncovering at least three complete words in either puzzle or the complete bonus word in the play area on each ticket. The overall odds of winning a prize in the game are 1 in 3.69.

One top prize of $50,000 is still up for grabs in Super Crossword (game #804), as well as four prizes of $5,000, 14 prizes of $500 and 65 prizes of $100.
