DES MOINES, Iowa - A $50,000 winning Iowa Lottery instant-scratch ticket was sold in Mount Pleasant.

Donald Menke of Macon, Mo., claimed the seventh of 10 top prizes of $50,000 available in the lottery's "Queen of Spades" game.

Menke claimed his prize Friday at the lottery's headquarters in Des Moines. He purchased his winning ticket at Hy-Vee, 1700 E. Washington St. in Mount Pleasant.

Queen of Spades is a $5 scratch game. If players match any of "your numbers" with any "winning numbers," they win the prize shown for that number. If they find the "2X" symbol, they win double the prize shown for that symbol. If they find the red "Q" symbol, they win four times the prize shown for that symbol. If they find the "joker" symbol they win all 15 prizes automatically. The overall odds of winning a prize in the game are 1 in 3.74.

Three top prizes of $50,000 are still up for grabs in Queen of Spades, as well as 42 prizes of $1,000 and more than 100 prizes of $100 or $200.
