DES MOINES, Iowa - A Sanborn woman won a $10,000 prize in Friday's Mega Millions drawing.
Tiffany Schimmer claimed her prize Monday at the Iowa Lottery's regional office in Storm Lake. She purchased her winning ticket at Dyno's, 101 W. Seventh St. in Sanborn.
The winning numbers in Friday's $32 million Mega Millions jackpot drawing were: 4-18-22-38-44 and Mega Ball 24. The Megaplier® number that night was 3.
Schimmer matched four white balls and the Mega Ball to win a $10,000 prize. Had she added the Megaplier to her ticket, she would have multiplied her win to $30,000.
There was one jackpot winner in Friday's drawing in New York. The estimated jackpot for Friday's drawing is $13 million.
Players can multiply their prizes (except the jackpot) with the Megaplier up to four times. The cost is $1 per play.
Winning numbers may be checked at the lottery website at www.ialottery.com or through the winning numbers' hot line at (515) 323-4633. Winning numbers may also be checked with lottery retail outlets or by calling the lottery at (515) 725-7900 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
