To Participate

To enter, make an Iowa Lottery Hot Lotto Sizzler ticket purchase of $4 or more on one ticket. To qualify, tickets must have a minimum of two Hot Lotto Sizzler plays on one ticket. If your Hot Lotto Sizzler ticket does not win a prize, you can enter this promotion. Players may enter nonwinning ticket serial numbers beginning Feb. 1, 2009. Eligible nonwinning tickets must have been purchased between Feb. 1 and Feb. 28, 2009. Nonwinning tickets must be entered by noon on March 4. Players must keep all nonwinning lotto tickets they enter and may use each ticket only once as an eligible entry.

All entries are final.

Prizes

Drawing

One drawing will be held March 4 by the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL). MUSL will draw 40 winners of $500 from each member state participating in the promotion.  One winner of $100,000 will be drawn from all qualified entries received in all participating states.  You may enter as often as you wish, but you may win only one prize.

Eligibility

All entrants must be at least 21 years of age.

Eligible tickets must be nonwinning and have a minimum of two Hot Lotto Sizzler plays on one ticket.  Entry is web-based only; no hand-delivered or mail-in entries will be accepted.

Winners

Winners will be contacted and instructed to present their nonwinning Hot Lotto Sizzler ticket to the Iowa Lottery to claim their prize.
