The Iowa Lottery is celebrating the holiday season with its new scratch ticket honoring the classic movie IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE and Iowa's own Donna Reed. Get in on the fun by entering our George and Mary Bailey look-alike contest. Your impersonation of the main characters in the movie could win you some extra holiday cash!

The 1946 movie has become an annual staple of the holidays. The story recounts the life of George Bailey, played by James Stewart, who is driven to considering suicide on Christmas Eve. Luckily, George's guardian angel arrives in his hour of need and shows him just how valuable his life has been to all of those around him. Donna Reed plays Mary Bailey, George's wife.

We're giving you the chance to win prizes and be seen by lots of Iowans as you do your best impression of the Baileys! We'll hold three competitions around the state. Photos and videos of the two regional winners (one George, one Mary) from each event will be posted on the Iowa Lottery’s Web site at ialottery.com, where the public will be able to vote for their favorites. There will be prizes at each regional competition, and the public's #1 favorite George and Mary will each receive $500 cash from the lottery.

Vote for your favorites Dec. 9 - 18 here on ialottery.com. The overall winners will be announced on Friday, Dec. 19.
